Past Octet - Current Gigs
Jordan Meyer - Sunrunners
Jordan "Jordante" Meyer was a T2 in the Octet from 2002-2004. He is now part of a San Francisco based 5 part Indie Rock Band. Check out the videos below, and their facebook page. You might be able to catch him live!
Keith Menconi - Big Voice, Big Talent!
Keith Menconi, T1 for the Octet performing live at the Hotel Utah. Click on the picture (and brace yourself for the awesome performance).
Brian Boshes - A Funny Man
Brian Boshes is a comic based in Seattle, Washington, though he has been known to travel a bit for the show. He is totally funny, and his humor resounds with geeks (like me) and Pacific North Westerners. His website is a self-contained, one-click hub to all the social media and videos you'll ever want to find - along with a calendar of upcoming shows. If you follow him of facebook and/or twitter, he's really good about announcing his schedule well before the show date.
Boshes also likes to write reviews of breakfast. Yeah, that's awesome!

Jeff Manabat in The Kinsey Sicks - Dragappella!
Jeff joined the Kinsey Sicks in 2004 and plays Trixie in this troupe (the glamorous one in the gold/orange dress).
Jeff Manabat was a part of the 1998 Octet. This group won top honors in the ICCA's and Jeff (and his twin brother Jake) brought an amazing new sound to the Octet. If you listen to Pink Elephants, you can hear his name sung in the backs. "Man-a-bat".

Max Cowan - Piano Man
Max Cowan from the '03-04 Octet has a band called +ONE Project, a musical collaboration of an organist and drummer. I had my doubts, but they are pretty awesome. You can see their videos on YouTube and they have a facebook page where you can become a fan. According to fb, they are now a trio: organ, drums and guitar. Awesome!

Bubblehouse....wee-ow, that's hot...and these two have such obvious musical chemistry. Excellent.
Lookit those fingers go! Max has piano-skillz! The drummer is awesome, as well...His name is Galen Grant, but I don't know anything about him other than that he keeps a filthy beat. (Filthy is good...it's what the kids say.)
Also, my purpose for adding this section to the Blog is for you to enjoy what the Octet are doing as they are growing as entertainers. Please be kind and respectful if you choose to check out the links. Thank you. :)
